A third-generation dentist, Dr. Nelson was raised in Cle Elum, Washington, attended high school in Auburn and graduated from college in Walla Walla. Having lived all over the world, including three years in Japan, he and his family have happily settled down for good right here in Renton.
Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Nelson has completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, a rotation in Prosthodontics (crown and bridge) and over 600 hours of continuing dental education. He is currently working toward Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious achievement among dentists.
We accept most major insurance companies and will be happy to help with the paperwork. All co-pays are due at the time of service.

Dr Nelson and Staff are so great, I love going to the dentist they make it very enjoyable. I would not change anything about the service...

Dr. Nelson and is staff are great! Even though I was a new patient they made me feel very comfortable like I had been going their for years. His front office made sure I understood how my insurance plan worked, which can be really confusing. I have had a lot of bad experiences in the past and was very nervous about getting fillings done. He was so gentle when he numbed me I didnt even notice he had started yet. The best part was that I got to watch a movie during the appointment which made it easier to keep my mind off the dental work. This was the first time that I actually can say I enjoy going to the dentist and I am not as fearful anymore. I appreciate his patience and understanding of my fears. I have sent many family and friends to Dr. Nelson and he has treated them all so wonderful. I am so happy I found Dr. Nelson's office and wish I had sooner!
